Hi, I’m Emma Franks, the face behind Emma Franks Photo!
I’m originally from Montgomery, Alabama, but now call Tuscaloosa home while I study Marketing at The University of Alabama.
I got my first camera at just 13 years old and haven’t put it down since. What started as a small creative outlet quickly grew into a lifelong passion and, eventually, a business. I launched Emma Franks Photo in 2018, photographing events, portraits, and local clothing brands—and it’s continued to grow ever since.

Alongside running my business, I serve as the Director of Photography for UA’s Student Government Association, where I get to help capture and market student life across campus. I love bringing ideas to life visually and helping tell stories that connect people—whether through my sorority, university events, or client sessions.
Above all, I’m passionate about capturing people’s most precious moments in a way that feels natural, timeless, and true to them.
